Potty Racers Stickman vs Learn To Fly Penguin

"Flying isn’t just about controlling the machine; it’s about understanding and controlling yourself."

- Amelia Earhart

The goal to ascend into the air, and among the cosmos is a common one. Physical limitations have not stopped these two flash game characters from finding a way into the air. The Emperor Penguin from Learn To Fly. And The Stickman from Potty Racers. If these two collided into the air, which one is going to land safely, in a DEATH BATTLE?

Before We Start

This will be using the original Flash games, Potty Racers 1, 2, 3, and 4, and the Learn to fly 1, 2, 3, and idle. All ships, items, and abilities will be considered, even if certain ones were destroyed during their story.

Background

Potty Racer

“At Long Last, I can finally see Uranus!”

One day, for reasons unknown, A Stickman wanted to take to the skies. And what better than to use a porta potty. Throwing himself off a cliff over and over, he slowly built it up with plane parts, until he finally could fly across countries. But, his adventurers didn’t stop here. He eventually took to the stars, visiting the moon, Mars, The asteroid Belt, and ended his space travels on Uranus. After this, he retired for a small period, but adventure called him one more time. From Uranus, he was given a tracker and a map of stars to collect around the globe. One more time, he broke out the Porta Potty, and started a new adventure. No matter the time, He will always be The Potty Racer.

Emperor Penguin

“Penguin Noise”

A penguin in Antarctica one day decided to google their species, shocked to learn their species are referred to as flightless. Determined to prove them wrong, He got flying gear together and took to the skies. He showed the world he can fly, before crashing into an Iceberg. He was made fun of, until he took his revenge by sending dummies to Icebergs all over. World news as many of them started to vanish. After making success in flight, and getting his revenge, his final goal came to making it to the moon. He pulled together help, made Penguin NASA, and made it to the moon. It's fair to say, this Penguin, Learned To Fly.

Abilities

Potty Racers

Tricks

Can do tricks mid flight. It gives him money somehow, and looks cool. And certain ones attract power ups, gives a boost, or a combination of both.

Regeneration

Can get chewed apart by sharks, vaporized, or hit by meteors and comes back fine.

Emperor Penguin

Weather manipulation

Through unknown means, he’s been shown to be able to affect the weather to some degree, often able to change the air resistance and lower temperature

Time manipulation

An ability which allows them to slow down or speed up the perception of time. This has an effect on the entire world, including themselves.

Other

Potty Racers

Plane Tricks

Can pilot and move their plane to do air tricks for more money and maneuverability. Also it looks cool. Though unlike the previous tricks, they offer no real boosts.

Emperor Penguin

World manipulation/Matrix

An ability to manipulate the world in several different ways. It can mess with Mass, Perception, Gravity, Mass, Size, Physics, Fuel, Mess with Weather, Change items to Dodo Birds, Increase Power, Increase Speed, Make things blurry, Make things upside down, Shoot rainbows, cause anything to blow up on contact, and much more. It seems to affect the penguin, and occasionally the world along with them.

Space Folding

An ability which somehow brings objects closer to them by folding space. This seems supernatural, as it’s able to bring even cosmic objects such as planets closer.

Before the Verdicts…

Game Distances vs Real Ones

The game does give us “distances” of what they cross, however, it’s extremely unreliable as to say it’s the actual distances. This implies the moon is only a couple thousand feet away from earth, or mars is only 8000 meters away. It’s only ever used as a last resort to things that didn’t have any other means to measure it, such as The Wall.

Dragon Ship KE

We do have the KE of both Penguins and Stickmans ships listed under AP, as both can reach Relativistic speeds, and have a history of crashing at said speeds. However, only The Penguin and their ships can actually tank such a hit. The Stickmans ships often blow up entirely as a result. While the Stickman can survive some of these crashes, he isn’t taking the direct energy of it, meaning it doesn’t scale to his durability.

Immeasurable Penguins

While a feat definitely seeming absurd for the verse, The Penguins ships are capable of going through time via sheer speed. While some time travel feats shouldn’t be considered for speed, this case does indicate they didn’t do this anyway but with speed. The ships were not crafted to time travel, and makes a reference to the Superman scene, of flying so fast, it reverses time. Regardless of having this feat, it’s also very clear, their ship may be able to reach those peak speeds, but they weren’t able to properly pilot it, and died as a result of the crash as well.

Penguin Ship Scaling

The game's point is to build better ships until they are capable of performing each task, such as destroying the iceberg or reaching the moon. However, whenever watching the in game cutscenes, they can show the simplest of dummies performing the feat, or the penguin without any sort of mechanical aid reaching the moon. This places the possibility of scaling to them physically for being capable of doing this without aid. However, due to the importance of the items needed to achieve these endings, this will only be considered as a possibility, rather than a certainty.

Penguin surviving The Moon Landing

While it might be in question if The Penguin actually survives the landing on the moon. We do have an interview which takes place after the fact that confirms he still is alive, and is the penguin then went to space. As well, another interview that confirms the moon landing has already happened.

Destroying the Dodo Planets

This is an impressive feat in terms of speed, but its potency is hard to measure due to how the game works. No object in this game disappears after being destroyed. It could easily just mean wiping out the dodo race, to literal planet destruction, but we have no means to prove literal. Even if we argue that to be a game mechanic, we have no means to measure how big the planet is, or how much of it was really destroyed. Its comparison next to earth isn’t likely 1 to 1, as this planet would also just be way too close to earth from the distance we have. It’s best as a supportive to their planet level feats, but lacks proper evidence to stand on its own.

MFTL Penguin weapons

They do have weapons that hit a clear level of MFTL. However, due to this weapon reaching far greater distances and capabilities that any previous game, it’s highly unlikely the penguin could scale to such levels of speed on their own. We have no reason to believe they can react at such speeds, especially due to how much larger scale it is compared to their rest of their showings. Their ability to fire this weapon and hit accurately is only because it’s automatic fire and aiming at objects not moving. They never have to move it while an object is also moving, meaning it’s more a skill in accuracy, not reactionary.

World Manipulation/Matrix

This may seem to fall in the veins of game mechanics, however, powers like this are not new to the Learn To Fly games. It comes from acknowledged characters in the verse, and items such as the gravity buttons and Ramp Adjuster share similar and same abilities that the World Manipulator and Matrix show to have.

Stickman Ship Scaling

While it seems strange to scale the stickman to his ships, he’s shown surviving things that destroy his ship all the time, as well, the implication that his gas is what powers the ship and shields in the first place. While the KE of it would be sketchy to scale, the energy to destroy it is definitely on the table.

Immeasurable Stickman

It isn’t ever outright stated what is happening when they reach the part of space with clocks and gears, it’s only reached by getting to a high enough speed and height, and doesn’t take place in the confines of their normal universe. It's been shown their universe is like our own, meaning this feat likely hits a level of immeasurable speeds due to the impossibility of causing this through speed. Though, due to the vagueness, this is still only labeled as a possibility, and not 100 percent solid.

Stickman Regeneration

While one might argue he isn’t vaporized in the explosions, it’s very likely he was. Due to we see nothing left, previous games have shown the effort of him being flung out of explosions when they happen, and the extra effort in animation to show the ship itself was vaporized.

Stickman Stars

There are actual stars shown to be around the planet. It is confirmed by the aliens. But the context of if they are real stars or not. We don’t have enough proof to say they can reliably give him scaling to them.

Verdicts

Buttersamuri

Well, this was an interesting one to look into. I won’t lie, I came in expecting a funny KE calc, and that’s about it. But there was way more that these two wielded. Let’s get into it then.

Stats

Starting it all off, the advantages are pretty clear cut here. Penguin even without scaling to ships. Is 15 Megatons, where Stickman is 41 kilotons. A massive number in the Penguins' advantage. But it doesn’t stop there, as being launched through the moon pretty effectively puts them at Planetary levels. 439 Zettatons, pushing the gap even. This can be supported by Penguins guns being able to destroy planets in Idle. The Stickmans max KE of his ships can get up to 6 Exatons, but their ship doesn’t survive impact, so that’s a one hit at best. Even if we scale him through his gas (stupid sentence) he still isn’t physically competent. He’s still over hundreds of thousands times weaker. But then there’s speed. And oh boy, this is a different story. Stickmans traveling to nebula feat gets thousands of times faster than Penguins moon feat. 30,000,000 vs 30. If you bring in immeasurable penguin, Stickman still outdoes it. Penguin wasn’t capable of reacting at immeasurable speeds, and just immediately crashed after usage. Meanwhile, Stickman is doing flips, tricks, and landing safely all at the same time. Meaning it becomes a case of being infinitely faster than Penguin. The Penguin does have a gun that reaches similar speeds, but it’s still twice as slow, and needs to be aimed and fired. This would rely on the penguins reactions, which as shown above, stickman had a immense advantage in. Very clear cut stat advantages

Arsenal abilities

Now for their weapons and abilities. It’s a very easy point for Penguin. They have practically everything Stickman has, and more. Ships, fuel, boosters, Ect. World Manipulator or Matrix would clearly give him dozens of abilities Stickman couldn’t really contend with… all except his regeneration. Stickman May lack in too many abilities, but his regeneration stands out as something Penguin doesn’t have, and quite a powerful advantage. His regeneration is potent enough he’s been chewed to a pile of blood or even vaporized entirely. This makes him so much harder to put down permanently. So, one question than.

Could The Matrix or World Manipulator kill Stickman

The short answer. No. Despite its crazy abilities, it doesn’t have any means to bypass his regeneration. The closest comes into changing him into a Dodo bird, but this doesn’t change what they are capable of, meaning regeneration is still on the table. This is assuming the matrix can even affect other people. They really are only used to affect Penguin himself. Even the explosion effect relies on Him making contact with other stuff. There could be a way to permanently make him stop moving by turning speed to 0, but at best, they both would be stuck.

Conclusion

So. Summary. Penguin is way too strong or tough for Stickman to hurt him and lacks any means to bypass durability. Penguin is infinitely slower than him, has no means to bypass the regeneration, and The Matrix and World Manipulator's abilities are sketchy on working at best, assuming they would even affect stickman specifically, or they would be fast enough to use it on someone literally infinitely faster.. put it quite simply. Nobody wins. Nobody can kill anyone. The fight either never ends, or Penguin uses Matrix to trap them both in a 0 speed hell. Didn’t matter how hard the two stepped on the Gas. Their chances have long since gone down the Crapper. No PengWin to be found. That’s just how this fight Flies
